The revert had conflicts, so I had to open a PR and undo them manually.

This is a revert of #9895, which was causing a number of issues on Android.

  • The style can't be created with an existing StyleUtils function (i.e. StyleUtils.getBackgroundAndBorderStyle(themeColors.componentBG)
