  • All JSX used for rendering exists in the render method
  • The component has the minimum amount of code necessary for its purpose, and it is broken down into smaller components in order to separate concerns and functions
• If any new file was added I verified that:
  • The file has a description of what it does and/or why is needed at the top of the file if the code is not self explanatory
• If a new CSS style is added I verified that:
  • A similar style doesn't already exist
  • The style can't be created with an existing StyleUtils function (i.e. StyleUtils.getBackgroundAndBorderStyle(themeColors.componentBG))
• If the PR modifies code that runs when editing or sending messages, I tested and verified there is no unexpected behavior for all supported markdown - URLs, single line code, code blocks, quotes, headings, bold, strikethrough, and italic.

@Pujan92 As the checkboxes are now 2px to the right of where they were, is there any clean way we can reduce the corresponding padding-left to keep them in the same position as they were? If not I can check with the design team if the current position is acceptable.

@Ollyws I don't think so, earlier the select all checkbox on the right side due to the padding-left only and now we aligned all on the same level. As mentioned it is required for the outline purpose. Maybe you can check with design team once

@shawnborton Just wanted to check before we proceed that this is OK with you.

In #20997 (comment) 2px of padding was added to the checkbox used for Select All in order to make the focus visible. We can't remove it so we've aligned the other checkboxes to also have this padding.

Can we reduce the gap between the checkbox and the avatar though? They feel too far apart IMO.

We can reduce the left padding for the avatar to 16px from 20px, as this is a common component that also applies to invite members page. I hope that is fine @shawnborton
