  • I verified proper file naming conventions were followed for any new files or renamed files. All non-platform specific files are named after what they export and are not named "index.js". All platform-specific files are named for the platform the code supports as outlined in the README.
  • I verified the JSDocs style guidelines (in STYLE.md) were followed
• If a new code pattern is added I verified it was agreed to be used by multiple Expensify engineers
• I followed the guidelines as stated in the Review Guidelines
• I tested other components that can be impacted by my changes (i.e. if the PR modifies a shared library or component like Avatar, I verified the components using Avatar are working as expected)

Performed the following Tests to ensure that the onyx data is handled correctly:

✅ Test 1: (verifies auth onyx data persistance)

1. While signed-in, close and open the app.
2. Ensure we're still signed-in after app re-opens.

✅ Test 2: (verifies removed onyx data persistance)

1. While signed-in, sign-out then close and open the app.
2. Ensure we're still signed-out after app re-opens.

✅ Test 3: (verifies onyx optimisticData created / persisted)

1. Write up a message in a report but don't send it.
2. Close and re-open the app.
3. Return to the draft message report and verify that the draft message is still there.

✅ Test 4: (verifies onyx optimisticData is created / persisted / removed when API call succeeds)

1. While signed-in, go offline and send a message to somebody then go online.
2. Verify that the optimistic message is actually sent when returning online.

✅ Test 5: (verifies onyx optimisticData is created / persisted / removed when API call succeeds)

1. While signed-in, go offline then send a message to somebody then close the app and go back online.
2. Re-open the app, go to the report and verify that the optimistic message was sent [or is still there if offline].
