PROPOSAL:

Tests

Precondition:

• User A and User B have their own workspace.

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. [User A] Send an invoice to User B.
3. [User B] Go to invoice chat.
4. [User B] Click pay button > Pay the invoice as individual > Pay elsewhere.
5. [User A] Send another invoice.
6. [User A] Note that User A can send another invoice.
7. [User B] Delete all the workspaces.
8. [User B] Note that app crashes after deleting the workspace.
9. [User A] Send another invoice to User B in the same workspace chat.
10. [User A] Note that user cannot send invoice after User B deletes all the workspaces.
11. [User B] Go to Account settings > Workspaces.
12. [User B] Note that the workspace list shows blank workspace under Free plan.

Expected Result:

In Step 8, app will not crash after user B deletes all the workspaces.
In Step 10, User A should be able to send another invoice to User B after user B deletes all the workspaces.
In Step 12, there should not be any workspace in the list. (Or a workspace with an error about annual subscription)

  • I verified proper file naming conventions were followed for any new files or renamed files. All non-platform specific files are named after what they export and are not named "index.js". All platform-specific files are named for the platform the code supports as outlined in the README.
  • I verified the JSDocs style guidelines (in STYLE.md) were followed
• If a new code pattern is added I verified it was agreed to be used by multiple Expensify engineers
• I followed the guidelines as stated in the Review Guidelines
• I tested other components that can be impacted by my changes (i.e. if the PR modifies a shared library or component like Avatar, I verified the components using Avatar are working as expected)
• I verified all code is DRY (the PR doesn't include any logic written more than once, with the exception of tests)
• I verified any variables that can be defined as constants (ie. in CONST.js or at the top of the file that uses the constant) are defined as such

In Step 12, there should not be any workspace in the list.

Here, there will be at least one workspace with the annual subscription error as seen in the video you shared.
