Describe the issue

I have edited 2 things in ftbchunks-world.snbt (file was ported to world/serverconfig):

1. force_load_mode: from "default" to "always"
2. max_force_loaded_chunks to 100 from 25.

My chunkloded chunks were just useless when I was not online. At first I didn't see anything. I started to use Ars Nouveau and I spotted that Ars Affinity points reset after I disconnect.

After a couple of hours of searching I found out that the issue is force_load_mode.

Hi, dev of Ars Affinity here. I tried reproducing but no luck so far on latest FTB and Ars Affinity.
I started a dedicated server with:

1. force_load_mode: from "default" to "always"
2. max_force_loaded_chunks to 100 from 25.

Then went to the server, claimed some chunks, got 1 water affinity point, assigned it to a perk, logged out.
Logging back in, it's still assigned.

Is there anything else I would have to do to reproduce it?

Hi, Thanks for the help.
So there is a problem. I tired replicate it doing some random stuff. What I got:

1. Bug is probably connected to the world. (I have done pure dedicated server with changed configs and everything is working perfect. My world is 70 hours in and I just recently started using the force_load_mode: from "default" to "always". I only know that this makes affinity points reset each log in. I went and done copied the whole world server into the world of dedicated new server and it started to reset again)
2. This bug randomly happened out of a blue after rounds of testing on dedicated server I loaded back to my original server (That I haven't touched for a 4 hours) with force_load_mode: set to "default" and my affinity points were reset. I don't know why.

In this world I removed the ftbchunks-world.snbt from serverconfig so you will need to copy it back again.
Way i do it:

1. Log in
2. Shoot a massive thunder spell at a dummy.
3. Get manipulation points.
4. Allocate it
5. Log out
6. Log in
7. No Points (Progres on 0%)
8. :(
