Is spire_pod.yaml a configuration file for kinematic and redused dynamic orbit determination of LEO satellites? How can I download the sample data and products used in this file? I am unable to download them using the current script. |

Hi PingaNNU, Thank you for your question. The spire_pod.yaml file is indeed a configuration file used for kinematic and reduced dynamic orbit determination of LEO satellites. Regarding the sample data and products, unfortunately, Spire LEO data are not freely available for public download. These data are only accessible if you purchase them or if you have access as a NASA investigator to their archive. Therefore, the current script will not be able to download the data without the necessary permissions. However, we will be providing an example on how to use Ginan to determine the position of LEO satellites using GRACE data, which are easier to access, in the coming weeks. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Best regards, |
