I've found a pretty horrible and frequent issue in Gitbooks (inability to copy text with any sort of formatting, due to cruft markup). Where can I file it?

https://github.com/GitbookIO/gitbook#help-and-support says

You can ask a question on the following contact form at gitbook.com/contact or signal an issue on GitHub.

...with "GitHub" linking to this very repo, where issues are disabled.

Also, most of the links in the README are broken: "Here is an example: Learn Javascript.", https://github.com/GitbookIO/gitbook#gitbook etc.

@SamyPesse you guys still maintaining this README? Looks like an abandoned village.

Hi admin,
Your product is terrible. It took me a lot of documents that took me a long time to create. This is the 3rd time in the past 1 month. I'm really upset.

OK, so the open-source development of Gitbook has ceased and the deprecation status means that even egregious bugs won't be fixed. Amazing how many crypto projects still use Gitbook without a care.

@dandv the OSS version of GitBook has been deprecated years ago, long before it started being used by many Crypto projects.
Most of the projects (and all that I know of) are using GitBook.com, which is actively supported and we have big plans for it :)

@SamyPesse: great to hear. Where is the issue tracker for the commercial product? It's in the GitBook.com deployments that I've seen the issue I've reported.

Would also help to clean up the spam here, at least in this issue.

Really sad about this and also really disappointed by my experience trying out Gitbook.com. Literally just attempted to convert one grouping of HTML pages into a single PDF and repeatedly got messages telling me I had to "upgrade to free trial to use export to PDF feature" which turned out to be false. It also said "credit card not required" which turned out to also be false if PDF generation is desired, due to the plans in place on Gitbook.com. Ended up staring at a Stripe checkout page asking to bill me at $2k a year for 20 licenses! The heck?

Really unimpressed, and also disappointed to see yet another open source project that seems to have become blinded by greed. :/
