Hah! Thanks, Neville for catching this!

Some news -- now that Dataflow SDK is morphing into Apache Beam (incubating), we're going to stop taking new pull requests on this repo. There will be a "contribution guide" up at that page sometime soon, and for now you can see a bunch of resources (mailing lists, issue tracker, etc.) under the "Community" tab on that website.

Of course, I will happily go ahead and port this change over to the Beam repo and make sure it ends up here as well. Expect to see this auto-closed by a git merge soon.
