Summary

  • fix the retry.test.ts compile/assertion issues and align the 1.0.0-alpha.14 changelog entry with what ships
  • restore branch ESLint execution by using the TypeScript plugin preset and clearing error-level lint violations in test setup/examples
  • add PROJECT_SPECS.md as the repo's living state document and capture the remaining external release blockers

Reviewers

Tagging Nexus (code quality) and Cipher (security/arch) — both approvals required.

Test plan

  • npm run lint
  • npm run build
  • npm test -- --ci --runInBand
  • npm pack --dry-run
  • Re-run GitHub Actions after GITLEAKS_LICENSE is configured
  • Re-run npm publish after NPM_TOKEN is replaced with an automation-capable token

Align the retry release tests with the current SDK error contract and move shipped changes into the alpha.14 changelog entry so the package is ready for tagging. Add PROJECT_SPECS.md as the repo's living state document.

Point ESLint at the TypeScript plugin preset it expects and clear the remaining error-level lint violations in test setup and examples so branch CI can validate the release fixes. Update PROJECT_SPECS.md with the resulting state and remaining external blockers.
