Feature Request: Automated Schedule Notifications

Description

To enhance the experience of participants and mentors during the Faculty Hackathon, it would be beneficial to implement an automated notification system that reminds all registered participants of upcoming meetups and tutorials. This feature can be particularly useful given the number of sessions planned and the potential for participants to miss important updates.

Proposed Features

  • Email Notifications: Send automated emails 24 hours and 1 hour before each scheduled session.
  • Calendar Integration: Allow participants to integrate the schedule with their personal calendars (Google Calendar, iCal, etc.) to automatically update and remind them of upcoming sessions.
  • Customization Options: Allow participants to opt-in (or out) of these notifications based on their preferences.
