Adding from #42 :

It is not clear to the user what format the data can be entered in.

The csv template doesn’t match the format of the pre-loaded data which might confuse.

WB request: More explanation on the structure of the data required is needed as not obvious. Maybe show two examples in the template, one for years and one for simulations (and explain any zero entry is assumed no event, not blank).

Could the template be more partially filled in, with some examples in the template to show how to input cat-model output (i.e., with simulations 1,2,3, not 2001,2002 etc.), making clear that any entries with a zero loss are assumed a no event year and incorporated in the analysis (i.e., bring the average down).
The user guide should provide examples (WB tested this and people interpreted how to do it differently)

Templates and examples: to use Years only.
Description in Loss Simulator: years only (historical data would be the input). (cat model output would go straight into spreadsheet)
Confirm what Download function proivdes (sim number or year)

I have updated the upload template with:

• new instructions for denoting a year rather than simulation number
• addition of column Loss Type (occurrence or aggregate) in line with data required in the risk pool structuring tool.
• new header and instructions on README page
• Loss amount summary added to sheet 'Historical_Loss_Data' for pre-screening
• Added example data (copied from example file, which has been DELETED due to duplication)
• Renamed with reference to the tool name.

Updated the structuring tool:

• data input columns: Order and names adjusted to match the data upload tool
• Example data updated to use YYYY rather than simulation number

Input templates and formats have been aligned across both tools and the input guidance in Phase 1 of documentation updated
