Linear detrending - clarify removal

Previous WB tool also had a "Linear detrending" component – has this been removed or just hidden. If removed, why?

Believe with the relatively low volume of data, this often just ends up spuriously moving figures up or down depending on how events have fallen over the years rather than capturing any trend and distorts the frequency. E.g., if there is a few large events in recent years then it recommends an adjustment.
The method also doesn't fit well with the frequency/severity approach as it assigns losses to all years E.g., see Tool1 Indonesia Drought
