Create a "Support" page that is hosted on thedata.org which is linked from the Dataverse UI
NEW for BETA: For -testing this page will point to- -thedata.org/testing-support- Beta this will point to: http://datascience.iq.harvard.edu/dataverse/support.
From Mike: “Support” a dropdown in the nav, and under it will be a link to “User Guides” within the app, and then a generic “Support” placeholder that will, for now, link to the placeholder page that Eleni built.
Merce suggested that the links under the “Support” dropdown could be configurable per installation, and might include “Community” (Google Groups) and “Report Bugs” (RT), but for right now, this week, it will just be “User Guides” (Dataverse app) and “Support” (thedata.org)."
Out of scope: another ticket: https://redmine.hmdc.harvard.edu/issues/3099 to figure out how do we want Dataverse Admins and Dataset Authors/Contributors to be contacted.
