Compound fields (i.e. Author) don't work as facets

We need to work on the indexing of compound fields such as "author". As is you can facet on authorFirstName or authorLastName but we we need to combine the fields into a new facet at index time. Author has been requested as a default facet in #3490. Unlike regular fields, compound fields don't have values... their children do.

Stephen and I agree that authorName (id 99) should be used for the "Author" facet when browsing.

Right now authorName returns null. Mike indicated that for now at least authorName should return authorFirstName + " " + authorLastName or "John Doe", for example. (We also talked about "Doe, John" as well as the perils of being too English/Western name focused in our thinking). I'm giving this ticket to Stephen to make authorName non-null.

Indexing should "just work" once this is in place, and the facet should appear in browse as long as id 99 (authorName) has been inserted into the dataversefacet table per scripts/database/facetpopulate.sql.

I'm not sure what to say about other compound fields...

Author name is now a single field. we've done away with first name last name.

Faceting will be done on full name. We need to add a search tip to tell users that if they want to search by full name quoted they should try "Last, First" since this is the suggested way for authors to enter their name. (Of course our suggestion is not enforced by validation so there's that.)

I confirmed that indexing of authorName for new datasets "just works" so I removed a FIXME from the UI:

f238265 removed "FIXME: #3602" from Author facet. authorName no longer null

For existing datasets (before Stephen's change), authorName is empty. So when I do an "index all" the Author facet is not populated.

Author facet works. Not sure how to test the other facets since there is not a way to configure in UI. I enabled all the blocks in the dv setup and populated the above fields in an appropriate dataset.

To find out what facets are currently configured:

SELECT title,name,datasetfield.id FROM dataversefacet, datasetfield WHERE dataversefacet.datasetfield_id = datasetfield.id ORDER BY dataversefacet.displayorder;

To change or add a facet, just update this table.
