Feature Request/Idea: regression test for custom footer and documentation update

Overview of the Feature Request
We had some problems with our custom footer after the accessibility changes in the code. In order to prevent this in the future, it would be nice to have a regression test for the custom footer.
Also, the example from the documentation contains outdated styling that does not work properly anymore.

What kind of user is the feature intended for?

What inspired the request?
Custom footer that unexpectedly changed its position on the page (suddenly it was in the middle, overlapping with the page content).
This could have been detected earlier if a regression test existed for this.

@ErykKul yes, good idea.

Any thoughts on what tools to use? Some Cypress tests were added in this pull request...

... but we never enabled them.

Selenium (or similar) was suggested in the following issue...

... and we do have some old Selenium tests that we moved under the "tests" directory in this repo way back in 0d8150c (7 years ago).

If you can lead the way in this effort, we would appreciate it!

With regard to custom-footer.html in the guides, I just tried it and it seems ok for me but I'm running on the develop branch (50f093b) with the following fix:

So maybe custom-footer.html is ok with the fix above? I hope so.

Update: I keep hearing good things about Playwright as well. Decisions, decisions. 😄
