Glad that article was helpful.

I am attaching my example.pth file here. It basically has paths to the "bin" and "lib" directories in the downloaded FreeCAD folder. Which is in D drive in my case. You'll have to put your own paths. Once you create this file, put it in the site-packages folder of your python installation. In my case it is this location;
C:\Users\devan\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python38\Lib\site-packages
