Parsing issue with execaCommandSync

If you try to run this example from ImageMagick's website

magick -size 320x85 canvas:none -font Bookman-DemiItalic -pointsize 72 -draw "text 25,60 \'Magick\'" -channel RGBA -blur 0x6 -fill darkred -stroke magenta -draw "text 20,55 \'Magick\'" fuzzy-magick.png

it gets turned into the following:

magick -size 320x85 "canvas:none" -font Bookman-DemiItalic -pointsize 72 -draw "\"text" "25,60" "\'Magick\'\"" -channel RGBA -blur 0x6 -fill darkred -stroke magenta -draw "\"text" "20,55" "\'Magick\'\"" fuzzy-magick.png

Presumably this is an issue with execaCommand as well.

It's not clear to me how you're calling the above command. Are you using execa? execaCommand?

So, you're running the following?

execaCommandSync "magick -size 320x85 canvas:none -font Bookman-DemiItalic -pointsize 72 -draw "text 25,60 \'Magick\'" -channel RGBA -blur 0x6 -fill darkred -stroke magenta -draw "text 20,55 \'Magick\'" fuzzy-magick.png"

no, I'm using """ strings

command = """magick -size 320x85 canvas:none -font Bookman-DemiItalic -pointsize 72 -draw "text 25,60 \'Magick\'" -channel RGBA -blur 0x6 -fill darkred -stroke magenta -draw "text 20,55 \'Magick\'" fuzzy-magick.png"""

when I log command it seems to be what I would expect. But yes, then I'm running execaCommandSync command identity and it errors with the escapedCommand show in the original message.

I am now getting this

magick -size 320x85 "canvas:none" -font Bookman-DemiItalic -pointsize 72 -draw "\"text 25,60 \'Magick\'\"" -channel RGBA -blur 0x6 -fill darkred -stroke magenta -draw "\"text 20,55 \'Magick\'\"" fuzzy-magick.png

It is treating the quotes as part of the argument. "foo" -> "\"foo\""
