Hi. Thanks for taking the time to bring new features to the plugin. I have considered using it in speed flip training to track first jump hold (and only first jump hold). The plugin could be well suited if I could just show the text and a number: Hold First Jump: 100 ms. Obviously if you are interested, you could make a separate supercharged speedflip trainer plugin. The toggles can come in form of command line cvars if that simplifies implementation (GUI update is not needed). Using cvars one could make keybinds to hide/unhide the metric (all possibly the whole overlay). I'm sorry if "Enable plugin" already has a command line equivalent.
Regarding the speedflip training, here are some metrics not yet offered:
- first jump hold
- I think moderate value is 80–100 ms, good value is 50–80 ms, excellent 30–50 ms
- I haven't tested my claim, but my theory is that first jump hold has upper and lower limits for times 2.0000–1.9500 s
- flip execution time (i.e. when 2nd jump is pressed)
- in theory faster is better but first jump hold may have some lower boundary
- 1st to 2nd jump duration is normally 60–160 ms, but beginners may have higher values like 230 ms
- flip direction timing
- flip direction should be placed closely to 2nd jump press
- this can be measured in a scale 0–100 %, 100 % meaning flip direction occurs simultaneously with 2nd jump press
- on KBM flip direction means pressing QW etc
- if horizontal air turn is performed between 1st and 2nd jump, we can also measure timing of that action
- ideally one should perfom all horizontal turn in air rather than on ground (but I haven't tested this claim)
- the plugin could measure the timing of ground turn as well
- this is much harder to implement compared to other metrics in the list
