Accessible. Secure. Empowering.
A comprehensive mobile ecosystem designed for neurodivergent independence.
Kanso is an Epitech Innovative Project (EIP) dedicated to bridging the digital divide for neuroatypical individuals. We build a hardened, simplified Android environment paired with a robust MDM (Mobile Device Management) cloud infrastructure, allowing guardians to provide a safe and autonomous digital experience.
The Kanso ecosystem is composed of three main pillars:
- Android Manifest: The central build manifest for the Kanso ROM (based on AOSP/LineageOS).
- Launcher: A custom Android launcher designed to minimize cognitive load.
- MDM Agent: The privileged system service handling device policies and telemetry.
- MDM Back-end: The core API managing device fleets, user profiles, and security rules.
- MDM Dashboard: The administrative interface for parents and tutors.
- Documentation: Technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and user manuals.
- UI/UX assets: Shared UI/UX assets and accessibility guidelines.
