[BUG] TYPO3 12: Offset issue during Drag&Drop of content elements

Summary / Description

We've seen issues where when dragging a content element with this extension installed (TYPO3 12 branch), the element is offsetted.
Sometimes it's even outside of the viewport.

Steps to reproduce

Open Page module and drag a content element.

Expected behaviour

Behaviour without Ext:paste_reference installed in TYPO3 12:

Hi I get a similar behavior, even without paste_reference installed. But only if I use a container element.

TYPO3 12.4.16

There is a Bug in EXT:container: b13/container#490 Maybe it has something to do with this issue here.

Hi, there is a new branch from @DavidBruchmann which should fix this issue:

@Kephson regrettable the branch v12-feature-container has still issues with the offset. It's getting very clear when an element is dragged over several drop-areas, then the offset is even out of the screen so that the element isn't visible anymore.
