I see we are hardening some third party apps as well, especially those that are shipped in kicksecure systems by default. Thunderbird is a wonderful tool. It can be set up to use very secure and private defaults. My settings would do exactly that. They vary from disabling unwanting outgoing connections to spoofing client user agent and time zone information in outgoing email headers. These cause no breakage, but big security. Review before merging.
