Unable to use GitHub version Kha

OS: Windows 10
App: Kode Studio
GitHub: Kode/Kha

Problem:

Set Kha path to:-
f:\HaxeToolkit\haxe\lib\Kha

Create test folder for Kode Studio
Init Kha
Pressed F5, to run Kha-html5-debug

It returns following error:-

at Object. (F:\KodeStudio\resources\electron.asar\renderer\init.js:162:5)
Error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'showWindow' of undefined
SystemImpl.hx:61
Stack:

Any ideas?

Use vscode and the Kha extension pack, Kode Studio is currently not up to date.

It works so-off!!

It still returns the following error:-

Is this now from hitting F5 in vscode? From what panel is the output? Please post the complete output from the Terminal panel and the Debug Console panel. Also post the version of node.js you are using, please.

Yes, when F5 is pressed.

I'm using node.js V16.13.2 LTS

The output is from the terminal.

No idea, doesn't look like it's a problem with Kha.

In my I had a very old copy of node installed. Also, other IDE or applications might install node in the background. Kha is now online and working under VSCode. :)

Ah, so the node install really was messed up. Glad it's resolved and thanks for the link.
