Lex Machina Homepage - revise misleading summary stats #5
Description
Lex Machina's homepage and Party overview page both include summary stats for cases, documents, and more. The Documents tallies are misleading because the counts are not of documents used to power Lex Machina's legal analytics and avaiable to users. The Documents tallies for federal district court, federal court of appeals, state court and bankruptcy court are of docket entries. I'm unsure what the tallies are of for PTAB and ITC.
Let's reconsider what we cite here. The time, care and $ invested in documents is unique to Lex Machina. We can do better in terms of accurately representing our documents collections.
