tools

i couln't find any proper Documentation for installing the tools (ether wiki or README).
However i did make & make install, but i got the error:
"lpi_protoident: error while loading shared libraries: libprotoident.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Any suggestions?

Hi,

Try running:

sudo ldconfig

then try using the tool again.

This will force your system to notice any new libraries that have been installed into /usr/local/lib and add them to its cache of usable libraries.
