This is not really a bug, but more like a request/question.

Is there any way to use the client on multiverse servers, that require you to navigate into a portal after logging in?

The app is absolutely unaware of the terrain and thus cannot walk toward a portal.
But, you may use /server or /home command to get around this issue in most cases.

Oh. Unfortunately those commands aren't available in my case.
So it wouldn't be a quick fix to add some scripting commands like turn(50) to rotate right 50°, or walk(100) to walk forward for 100 seconds, without it actually knowing it's surroundings?

Oh, yes, that's possible, though it would still need to parse position packets and then send movements packets with new positions, which would also require work. Walking in the air might get you banned for hacking, walking in a wall would get you automatically kicked by any server (this is a vanilla anti-hack feature). Currently, terrain & movements are not planned since it's not the goal of a chat-only application. However, it's part of the "might-one-day-work-on-this" feature list ;)
