blog post for final GSoC

@richardjgowers @jbarnoud can we make a blog post that links to what @ayushsuhane and @davidercruz have accomplished?

If they have written up a summary for GSoC the we should link to it. If there isn't such a summary then we should have one in the blog. (Also, I see @davidercruz started #87 !)

I had a quick look at @ayushsuhane 's FInal Benchmarks (Part I) and Final Benchmarks (Part II) and @davidercruz 's GSOC2018: Final Report. You both made really great contributions: significant performance improvements in important parts of the code and unique and elegant functionality.

We should definitely highlight your accomplishments in a blog post. Perhaps have just enough of a teaser in there so that people will continue reading your blog posts.

Hi @orbeckst ...Thanks...It was a great learning experience with MDAnalysis. I will try to continue contributing towards building the library.

I am not sure if you are asking @richardjgowers / @jbarnoud to write the blog post. If not, I will try to open a PR here (over the weekend) highlighting the links and major contributions during the GSoC period.
