Investigation Findings

Current Settings Available

The settings system uses a key-value store in SQLite (settings table). Currently available:

title	update_settings	Site title (shown in header, meta tags)
description	update_settings	Site description (meta tags, og:description)
code_theme	update_settings	Syntax highlighting theme (Chroma themes: monokai, dracula, github, solarized-dark, etc.)
subdomain	rename_subdomain	Site URL slug (owner-only)

MCP Tools

• get_settings — any team member can read
• update_settings — requires editor role or higher (only title and description in whitelist)
• rename_subdomain — owner-only

Architecture

• Generic key-value model — no migration needed to add new settings
• New settings just need to be added to the whitelist in tools_settings.go and consumed in templates
• Code theme is already functional but not in the update_settings whitelist (set during init only)

Suggested Additions

• Expose code_theme in update_settings whitelist
• Custom CSS / accent color
• Favicon URL
• Social links (GitHub, Twitter, etc.)
• Footer text
• OG image default
