App crashes when opening project with error

It is not 100% reproducible, but sometimes the app fails to open the project with an error.
It also usually breaks the screen recorder, so I end up with 0-byte video.
The other issue is that the layer loads fine in QGIS.

App version: 2025.7.0
Device: Pixel 4
OS: Android 13

Let's wait until #4155 is merged and test it again, it might be a side effect of this bug.
