Sprint unsprinting rapidly (Reopen) #5931

I find that this can either happen randomly or just from something due to Minecraft or even desync but it is triggerable in regular gameplay and reproducible.
With the sprint module enabled (on rage or strict and with any options, rage is more common) if you tap any movement key quickly, it'll sprint, unsprint, attempt to sprint again, and repeat over and over until it either stops by itself or you intervene in some way.
It does not stop when attempting to press any movement key, crouching, or entering inventory. It can sometimes go on for minutes without stop albeit harder to reproduce.
From what I can tell, this exact bug doesn't seem to have been reported (by anyone else) but I could've missed it.

Steps to reproduce
- Enable sprint module with any optional setting and mode
- Quickly press a movement key (short tap)
- Sprinting and unsprinting repeatedly begins
