Markdown and hyperlinks - are those incompatible?

Hi!
Thanks for AlephNote, it become years ago my day to day memory aid...

I always wondered why links were not working (neither showing nor triggering the browser).
Finally I decided to spend some time in the matter, and ... , and seems that I had markdown-always selected in the settings (see

Changed settings to no markdown, and, presto, have hyperlinks (but clearly, no markdown...). Tried to ad markdown tag to the note, and there is no solution, either markdown or hyperlinks, but not both at same time.

Not sure if it is just a bug or by design. If by design, perhaps it should be clarified in https://github.com/Mikescher/AlephNote/wiki/Syntax-Highlighting

Hmm, yeah - half bug, half intended :D

For markdown notes, the links have to be formatted as markdown, e.g. [url](text), but after testing it, it seems links become highlighted but not clickable...

So I think there actually is a problem with the markdown renderer :/

Also I didn't know there was a thread on portablefreeware on AlephNote :D - and apparently its ~9 years old...
