I think Windows 11 has started to kill off .NET 3.5 which is required for this.

The installer only works in the canary channel, either you need to move there or wait for the release to become final.

I am on Build 26200.7171 and .NET 3.5 is installed with the same result.

That's a shame, I wouldn't know what update broke this.
The original creator hasn't updated the pre-compiled version for over 5 years now.

I can try to look into the code and fix it myself, but I'd have to find some spare time for it first.
Until then, this sadly remains broken.

Don’t worry, take your time. We can always use the “slow” method, but this one was more convenient and easier, just two clicks and done xD

Yes i checked the code and runed on my computer so its safe its only fix for steam this is why the app wasn't opening

And why would that be necessary when this original version of Auto CreamAPI could fetch DLC IDs without needing that? Sharing your Steam Web API key is such a huge security risk, especially if you have anything valuable in your Steam inventory.

Exactly, when it asked me to log in, I got a bad feeling; it's like those pop-ups that say "give me your email and password and I'll give you 1 million gems in X game."
