We introduced alpha_raw because we thought that was necessary to correctly compute factorization scale variations. Now we realized that it is not and we should compute the scale variation kernels using alpha evaluated at the factorization scale (as we used to do in the past). So we need to revert and remove completely alpha_raw from the game.
