I guess this will need several weeks of someone's time just to blindly porting it.
Another option of course is to leave it and do anew the versions that will use the new pineapplgrids, the new commondata and so on. This applies also to #380.
I won't deal with this issue as a part of the current batch of PRs so if someone wants to do it it's up for grabs. When/if I need to do a fit with pineapplgrids I think I will start directly with the "another option".
