We should be able do bypass libnnpdf and have essentially the same information from Python: This is a central value and a list of uncertainties (with the corresponding systypes and whatnot).

Yep, though Zahari seems to be referring to a more general c++ replacement in this issue

Perhaps we should keep this open until we make the load method call the relevant python machinery

Oh yep, sure, good point. At what stage will we do that? When more of the replacement python code is in place?

I think so, I guess we need to have all the c++ methods existing in some guise in python
