The South African Natural Science Collections Atlas (SANSCA)

Tracks installation, configuration, issues and development of SANSCA infrastructure and tools.

Current Status

We are in the process of deploying a living atlas instance for South Africa and dealing with the challenges that come with it.

Completed

• Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Installion
• Launched la-toolkit and authenicated to server using ssh-tunnel to server
• Succesful connectivity test using localhost

In progress

• Deploy SANSCA test instance
• Resolve initial seeding issues
