Description
Currently, it is only possible to import contacts via CSV into the NethVoice address book, but these contacts are not editable from the NethVoice CTI interface.
This presents a limitation for users who need to manage or update contacts directly within CTI after bulk import.
Requested Feature:
Allow contacts to be imported via CSV into the NethVoice CTI address book, making them editable directly from CTI
During import, provide a way to assign each contact to a specific user (e.g. via an "owner" or "user" column in the CSV or a input in the interface)
Maintain compatibility with existing CSV import structure where possible
Benefits:
-
Simplifies contact management for users and administrators
-
Supports real-world workflows where contacts are centrally imported but individually maintained
-
Reduces duplication and confusion between system and CTI address books
Use Case Example:
A company imports a list of customer contacts. Each contact should be visible and editable only by the sales rep assigned to them, directly from their CTI interface.
