Currently, executing processors built on top of core's BaseProcessor/ocrd_cli_wrap_processor will emit a stacktrace and an exception announcing that the METS file could not be found.
IMHO it is more intuitive, if calling a processor CLI without a METS file present would provide the help screen instead of trying to do the processing even though no arguments might have been provided at all.
