[FR] sftp storage for desktop app

Summary

The goal would be to allow shared access to kdbx for team members

Motivation

Would be really nice to have shared access via sftp, I used keeweb's google drive sync before, but its broken for multiple months. I usually use multiple key files shared between different user groups. I could setup role based permissions using unix groups on the server.

And it will be awesome to also have webdav functionality available as the mobile apps, for parity and ability to sync using the same settings (ie access security, authentication, single storage, etc)

When I add SFTP support for the desktop, I will also add the Webdav support.

Can you give me some scenarios, how do you plan to use such feature on desktop and the mobile ?

Will something similar to what is done for the mobile work ?

Having the database being shared in a intranet server (ie owncloud, nextcloud, nginx webdav, ...), using the same connection/authentication parameters for the mobile and desktop client.

Will something similar to what is done for the mobile work ?

Yes, that's the idea. Connect to the database using the same protocol and parameters.,
