indicate provenance of returned elements for element gets

seems to be an overlooked behavior that was in mms3 - on element gets the _refId of elements returned are set to the requested ref (or in the case of elements gotten through project mounts the ref it was gotten from). so if an element hasn't been changed in a branch, it'll still reflect that it was found through that branch instead of the ref it was last modified in
