Architect a Failover strategy #48
Description
The entire failover 'truth table' needs to be architected. To be truly resilient, the architecture must declare how the data center can remain running and supported in the face of several failure scenarios. Failure conditions include:
- Sunfish Core Service goes down. Agents and hardware managers remain active and running workloads
- Sunfish Agent goes down. Sunfish Core Service and hardware managers remain active and running workloads
- hardware managers go down. Sunfish Core Service and Sunfish Agents remain active awaiting hardware reboot
Some of these scenarios have drafts of requirements and possible architectural options defined, but there are no solutions or draft code implemented at this time.
