Editable System Prompt #81

Description

@AnthonyRonning

We want users to be able to provide an editable system prompt on each new chat message. Right now we don't use any system prompt and jump straight into the user request for new chats. I would like this to be the default behavior still.

A few thoughts:

  • make it seamless to edit system prompt when making a new chat message. The drop down or button for it should be somewhere that makes sense but not intrusive or look ugly.
  • no stored system prompts for now. Users will have to edit it on each new chat message
  • if already in a chat thread with a system prompt or not, they maintain that. No switching after the first message creates the chat.
  • maybe allow a subtle indicator somewhere where they can see the system prompt if they had one set. Like if they hover over it or click it. But no editing it.
  • don't show the system prompt in the chat history view. Only in the special place you do above.
  • only paid (starter/team/pro) users can edit their system prompt. Maybe show a lock icon and an indicator that they need to upgrade in order to get access to it if they hover or click it.
  • make sure everything looks good for both desktop full view and mobile responsiveness
