Current Situation
Current Situation
The API currently allows external apps, such as Home Assistant, to see the current battery level and to go to next/previous images on the frame, but does not allow for uploading/removing/etc. images programmatically.
Proposed Change
Extend the API to enable scripts or applications (such as HA) to be able to send images to the frame privately and more dynamically. This would allow for a much more robust experience using the frame such as automatically capturing recent family photos or even sending screenshots of information (such as weather or transit times) to enable the frame to be more useful.
