Verify the integrity of the par2 files

I'm trying to make a script that does mass par operations, is there a way to see whether the par2 files are damaged or not?
par2j has that option but it's not cross platform and I'm using par2cmdline-trubo which is 2x faster than par2j on my devices so using par2j is unlikely.
Is there a way to check the par2 files for damage or do I have to make something on my own.

Well I did end up making something on my own by consulting the specs, but I still want to know is there a chance for this to be added as a feature or not?

@samyarkhafan feel free to contribute your check, mostly I'm wondering if you just mean loading the parchive files and checking if the expected blocks are there, without further verifying the rest of the files?

Well I can't really contribute cause I made a little python script, I don't have much experience with c and cpp.
And no I didn't mean that, though a check par integrity only option would be useful as well, what I meant was checking the md5 hash for each packet and matching it with the one that's stored in the packet and reporting any issues in the end along with the condition of the source files.

it's a simple thing to do, took me about 20 lines in python I think. You're already reading the packets for verifying the source files so you just have to also take the md5 value stored in the packet, calculate md5 for the packet and compare them.

My current solution for my app right now is to run par2cmdline and my own verifier at the same time which to my knowledge shouldn't slow down the read speed since most operating systems cache whatever they read for future use.
