Docker container to run tests

We are having issues to replicate errors across different testing environments, and the use of docker containers could solve this.

@ericspod in the continuous integration (actions) used in MONAI-core repository to run the premerge tests, which docker images do you use? Are them the ones specified in here based on ubuntu-latest? Do you think there is any easy way to us replicate these kind of jobs (maybe running them locally if not possible to set actions in the generative models repository)?

The testing environment used in the file you're mentioning is provided by Github. Other job definitions describe GPU testing jobs run on Nvidia infrastructure using their Pytorch CUDA images. If you want to test locally you could use the MONAI image itself provided on docker hub which is this. We should set up our own CI/CD here in this repo using the min tests file from core as a basis, even though this repo is private I think we can do that with the Project-MONAI org plan that we have.
