Looks good, Eric. Please, execute ./runtests.sh --autofix and ./runtests.sh -f to fix the problems with format and unused imports and I think it is good for merging

Addresses #304.
This moves the DiffusionPrepareBatch class to the main library from the example tutorial since it's useful in general, especially in bundles.
