Evertime l open the isp program ，there is always an erro which tell me to check my metada file, what is going on with it ,l will be appreciate it if someone help me!

1. Please, describe exactly all steps that you are following to end with this error
2. Please. Write your terminal output or attach a screenshot with the terminal output

I only followed the installation steps shown in the image above and did not take any additional steps.

Then I opened the ISP as shown in the following image.

Then, when I opened the time-frequency analysis option, this error occurred.

I noticed that when I entered "isp" to open it, the terminal displayed some negative words. Could this be related to the issue?

Ok, there is no a problem, When you open the module, what is trying is to read automatically the metadata of the file path

In your case is pointing to a *.SAC file. Simply point to a valid metadata file not to a sac file.

WARNING, we design ISP to be used with mseed files not SAC files!!!

So,can I now use ISP normally and ignore that error?

Yes of course. Just affect if you want to remove the response of the instrument (when you use the macro for signal processing stuff).Be in mind that Metadata file give ISP information about how is the sensor (in case you want to remove the response) and the positition of the instrument. see ISP/isp/Metadata/xml/metadata.xml
