verbose=T - con feature request

Hi,

when fread use verbose=T a lot of usefull messages is goint to stdout. If stdout is terminal it takes a time... I propose to add "con" arguments to redirect this message to alternative file connection. It will be usefull when debuging batch import... Good example is writeLines from {base} pkg.

This could be done globally, not just for fread. Maybe new option which controls if verbose goes to stdout or into connection.

I believe this could be handled with sink. Still interested to manage this through verbose or easier to let end user handle the sink()ing?

I think sink() is appropriate here. An alternative would be to make catf() actually signal a low-priority condition that user could trap with globalCallingHandlers()... not much interest anyway.
