Just saw a fail on win-builder with R-devel in a test related to gc(). 1158 is between 896 and 1253 which fits with this comment.

Since it wasn't test 1158, let's leave it on and remove this PR. #2850 more likely now.

I reproduced 1158 failure

* using R Under development (unstable) (2018-05-05 r74699)
* using platform: x86_64-w64-mingw32 (64-bit)

 Error in eval(exprs[i], envir) :
    1 error out of 7702 in 52.3sec on Mon May 07 21:15:35 2018. [endian==little, sizeof(long double)==16, sizeof(pointer)==8, TZ=America/Los_Angeles, locale='LC_COLLATE=C;LC_CTYPE=English_United States.1252;LC_MONETARY=English_United States.1252;LC_NUMERIC=C;LC_TIME=English_United States.1252']. Search inst/tests/tests.Rraw for test number 1158.

Running test id 1158 Test 1158 ran without errors but failed check that x equals y:

First 6 of 1 (type 'logical'): [1] TRUE
1 element mismatch

You should be able to reproduce locally in office on "w1"

If we don't have yet fix for this I would merge this PR and open new issue to fix and enable test again.

It failed on cran's fedora with 1.11.2 also. I filled #2854.
