Help: BF, BMD, SPD Emulators suddenly stopped working properly.

Describe the Issue
BF, BMD, and SPD File Emulators inexplicably stopped properly functioning. Mods boot, but anything that is changed under those emulators doesn't get modified.
I have tried clearing cache, manually installing mods, removing reloaded.sharedlib.hooks and the respective File Emulators to let Reloaded II re-install them, reinstalling runtimes (perhaps I missed one or multiple) and Windows, enabling one mod a time, and enabling just Persona Essentials and still came up with the same error on the three File Emulators.
I hope this is an incredibly stupid error or oversight on something obvious, but I am completely clueless and ignorant on what to do, I have zero experience with any sort of coding. Mod order will be provided in a screenshot + logs of just Persona Essentials enabled and with most mods enabled.
My GMT is GMT -7, I'll respond and attempt suggestions of a fix as quick as I can but I may not be at home to do them immediately. Thank you in advance.

There was a bug in those file emulators (plus PAK) that I found and made a pr fixing yesterday that should fix this (see #29).

Basically it prevented files being emulated past the first time they are opened. This has always been a problem but seemingly we were kind of lucky (unlucky?) and it never really showed up before. When I made it so an emulated file could be created indirectly when querying a file's attributes this made it much more likely to happen, since if anything checks the file size, last write time, etc, before the file is actually opened it will break stuff.

Once Sewer gets a chance to look at that pr and put out releases I expect the update will fix your problems. We'll let you know when that time comes so you can test.

Perhaps I didn't do it right, but the updates unfortunately didn't help; it still returns the same error even after a restart and manual install of every mod. If you need more details then the mod order and logs such as PC specs, system settings, or anything else you would want, let me know. (Please shame me if I made a ridiculous mistake lmao)

Based on those logs those emulators just aren't doing anything. They're not picking up any files to emulate although they are seemingly loading. (I don't think I actually had a chance to look at the logs the other time).

You also said

Do you mean there's an actual error message displayed somewhere or by "the same error" do you just mean mods seemingly don't work? I don't see any errors in the logs.

If it's not an error message, could you give a specific example of what you're looking for to check whether mods are working?

I do apologize for not stating it but yes, it is the same "[Reloaded] [LoaderAPI] Warning: GetController<IReloadedHooks returned null" issue and not an error stated by Reloaded-II, even after the update.
I'll provide screenshots comparing the SS's in the Rose & Violet page in Gamebanana vs what I experienced.
Joker's battle UI wasn't changed to Violet/Rose but the modified Violet model is present. The Kasumi cut in is correct, but Futaba navi text still referring to Kasumi/Rose as Joker.
Sojiro's 4/9 dialogue about the circumstances of the protag's criminal record wasn't changed
Anastasie (Berserk Cendrillon) is not present, it's still Arsene. Dialogue and options in the awakening also haven't changed.
Level Up, Battle and Inventory options show a mix of Kasumi and Akiren, the mask in the inventory hasn't changed from Joker's to Violet's mask. The wanted/ party member overview screen does show Kasumi, but the initial inventory screen, the skill/item screen and the confidant/confidant overview screen shows Akiren.

Ok, I've actually tried the mod out myself now (sorry I didn't do it sooner) and it seems that it's nothing you've done wrong. That Rose & Violet gamebanana page is just a bit confusing.

Basically, the screenshots from it are from unreleased Wip versions of the mods. Currently there's no public version of the story overhaul (what would change those lines from Sojiro) but there are Wip builds of the Kasumi as protag mod that would get you those updated sprites and things. It took me a bit to work that out, it's not very clear imo...

Anyway, here's links to the two discord posts that you could follow to hopefully try this stuff out earlier. Both are on the Persona Modding server.

• Rose & Violet Story Overhaul - Don't see any public build in there yet but you could have a look through or ask around in there

The Rose and Violet page was confusing and somewhat haphazardly put together about what’s done and what’s still WIP, that did throw me through a doozy even if it was stated in image descriptions and disclaimers. It does need to be stated what’s being worked on and what’s done more clearly imo, but it’s nearly done according to the page so I’m not too stressed about it.
Anyhow, I did run another, entirely separate mod set and it worked flawlessly. It did return the same return null issue if there’s nothing to emulate (e.g BMD files are not changed at all in Royal Heist) but
like you said, but no instability or crashes that would suggest that to be the issue.
