_*ib*_ doen't work

Combining _ * to have italic bold-combos does't work. Example:
i -> ok
b -> ok
ib -> nok
bi -> nok

fyi: in github two characters means bold either * ou _ .. one of them means italic.. three of them are bold and italic.

examplo:

underscore = italic
asterisk = italic
two underscore = bold
two asterisk = bold
_any three_ = bold and italic
_any three_ = bold and italic
